Welcome to the Airbnb Academy community operated by Jacques du Toit ("we", "our", or "us"). By accessing our website, enrolling in our free course, or subscribing to our community membership, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. About Our Services

We provide online educational content, training, downloadable resources, live sessions, and access to a private online community designed to help individuals learn about Airbnb hosting, co-hosting, property management, and related topics.

Our services are intended for educational purposes only and do not guarantee any specific financial results or business outcomes.

2. Free Course

Our Airbnb course is provided free of charge and may be updated, expanded, or modified from time to time.

Once registered, you receive ongoing access to the free course unless otherwise stated.

3. Community Membership

Community membership is available on a month-to-month subscription basis at the advertised monthly fee, current R149 per month.

Your membership includes access to the private community, member resources, live sessions (where applicable), and any additional benefits advertised at the time of your subscription.

Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled.

There is no minimum contract period and no long-term commitment.

4. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time.

Once cancelled, your membership will remain active until the end of your current billing period. No further recurring payments will be charged after cancellation.

Cancellation does not affect payments already processed for the current billing cycle.

5. Refund Policy

Because our products include immediate access to digital content and online community resources, we generally do not offer refunds for monthly subscription payments that have already been processed.

If you believe you have been billed incorrectly or experienced a technical issue, please contact us within 7 days of the charge. We will investigate and resolve genuine billing errors as quickly as possible.

Refund requests are considered on a case-by-case basis where required by applicable consumer protection laws.

6. User Conduct

Members agree to:

Treat other members respectfully.

Avoid abusive, discriminatory, or offensive behaviour.

Refrain from spamming, self-promotion, or unsolicited advertising.

Respect the privacy of other community members.

Use the platform for lawful purposes only.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the community if these standards are repeatedly violated.

7. Intellectual Property

All course materials, videos, templates, downloads, presentations, graphics, and written content remain the intellectual property of Jacques du Toit unless otherwise stated.

You may use these materials for your personal learning only.

You may not reproduce, distribute, resell, share login credentials, or commercially exploit any course material without prior written permission.

8. Educational Disclaimer

The information provided through our courses, webinars, community, and mentorship is based on practical experience and is intended for educational purposes.

Individual results vary depending on market conditions, effort, experience, location, financial circumstances, and many other factors beyond our control.

We do not guarantee income, occupancy rates, profitability, or business success.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jacques du Toit and Airbnb Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or financial losses arising from the use of our educational content, community, or services.

Members remain solely responsible for their own business decisions and investments.

10. Privacy

We respect your privacy and handle personal information in accordance with applicable South African privacy legislation, including the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Your information will only be used to provide our services, communicate with you, and improve your experience. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

11. Payment Processing

Payments are securely processed through our authorised payment providers. We do not store your payment card details.

Recurring subscriptions continue until cancelled by the member.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Refund Policy

We want you to have a great experience with our community.

The free Airbnb course is provided at no cost.

Community membership is billed monthly.

There is no long-term contract.

You may cancel your subscription at any time.

Your access continues until the end of your paid billing period.

No future payments will be collected after cancellation.

Monthly subscription fees that have already been processed are generally non-refundable because members receive immediate access to digital content and community resources.

Billing errors or duplicate charges will be investigated promptly and corrected where applicable.

Subscription Policy

There are no cancellation fees or penalties.

Membership benefits remain available until the end of your current paid period.
